JOB DESCRIPTION
Position/Job Title: LVL Technician
Reports To: Brent Nelson – Corporate Office Support
FLSA Classification: Salaried/Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY: The position is responsible for delivering and retrieving cash and coin from the limited video lottery (LVL) machines, safe kiosks and/or LVL petty funds and performing reconciliation of all activity, including the physical count of all funds. The technician is responsible for the overall operating maintenance of the LVL machines and Safe Kiosks. The position is also responsible in a similar capacity for the Company’s Automated Teller Machines (ATM’s). The position does support the Company’s office administration through the retrieval of the Gumby’s store deposits and delivery to the bank, delivery and pickup of interoffice mail and office/operating supplies. The position requires the technician to maintain a valid driver’s license at all times.
TYPICAL SCHEDULE AND WORK LOCATION:This is a full-time position, hours of work and days are on a shift rotation. The LVL Technicians rotate between the day shift and the afternoon/weekend shifts. The hours worked during each weekly shift will approximate 45 hours. Weekly shift hours worked in excess of 45 require approval in advance from your supervisor. The day shift is typically Monday through Friday. The afternoon/weekend shift is typically Wednesday through Sunday night. Month end and Year end typically requires all technicians report to work. Overnight travel is limited to attending training/certification and/or classes/seminars. |
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent work experience. Experience with Microsoft Office software products, electronic mail software, and internet browser software. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, and grammar. Valid driver’s license. ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Certification from a trade or technical school or equivalent training. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. |

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a non-sedentary role. Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of a technical nature. Lifting objects up to 50 pounds occurs on an infrequent basis. Lifting objects in excess of 50 pounds (moving or relocating LVL machines, ATM’s of Safe Kiosks) must be performed with the use of a dolly and also occurs on an infrequent basis. This position has regular exposure to possible air contamination, such as smoke, dust, fumes, disagreeable odors and airborne particles, while in an indoor environment with adequate ventilation. There will be regular exposure to changing weather conditions, rain, snow, sun and wind while entering and existing between a vehicle and building. There will be exposure to moderate noise, LVL game-room and coffee shop with small number of patrons and traffic/roadway noises while traveling in vehicle. The position will be exposed to the risk of electrical shock while in contact when entering the video lottery machine and/or safe kiosk. This position requires both close and distant vision. |
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: |
This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/scanners, fax machines, smart phones, money counters/sorters and filing cabinets. The use of screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, shop-vac, flashlight, small hand tools and cleaning materials. The use of a company owned vehicle is provided, which requires maintaining a valid driver’s license at all times. |
